Vodovnik Award

Instituted by the IFESS Executive Board during the 2000 IFESS meeting in Aalborg, Denmark, the Vodovnik Award is given to the best student papers.
The award is given in honor of the late  Dr. Lojze Vodovnik, consisting of three prizes to be awarded to the best three papers submitted and presented at IFESS conferences by students.

This year, the three best papers will be considered for an extended version publication in a special issue of Artificial Organs Journal.
All student’s submission, where the undergraduate or graduate student is the first author on the article, will be considered for the Vodovnik award.
Please ensure that you indicate yourself as a student during paper submission process.
The student must be present at the conference to be eligible for this award.
